In this lesson we'll explore the:

  • The Scale Tool (S)

  • The Reflect Tool (O)

  • The Duplicate Tool (CMD or CTRL + D)

  • The Rotate Tool (R)

Take Action:

  1. Download the practice worksheet.

  2. Make the star bigger, then smaller. Play with holding down shift to keep it proportional.

  3. Reflect the arrow around itself to complete the shape.

  4. Make a square, then duplicate it in a row several times.

  5. Select the star and rotate it slightly.

  6. Using the circle as a guide (be sure "smart guides" is turned on), rotate and duplicate the line around the circle 12 times (to create a clock).

  7. Using the blob brush tool, create a shape (like a petal) and rotate it around a center point to create a circular shape (or flower).
