A few notes:
1) If you don't see it, the Puppet Warp Tool is probably hiding in the flyout menu of the ‘Free Transform Tool’. Look for the tiny arrow and pull out that menu to select it.
2) To see measurements in the top toolbar, go to Window > make sure 'Tools' is checked. Then click and drag (holding down the mouse) to read a measurement.
Take Action:
Download the practice exercise.
Use the Puppet Tool to drop points on the stem, then tilt and twist it.
Grab the measure tool and measure one side of the stem.
Draw a simple circle and warp the edges of it using the Warp Tool.
